International Youth Day 2023

In celebration of International Youth Day and this year's theme, "Green Skills for Youth: Towards a Sustainable World," the Makazi Foundation, in partnership with Cocoon Arts, took a step closer to a greener future by donating 10 recycle bins to Mount View International School this morning!

Recycling isn't just about sorting waste; it's a vital step towards preserving our planet. By recycling, we reduce the strain on natural resources, cut down on pollution, and help minimize the amount of waste ending up in landfills. Every plastic bottle, every aluminum can, and every sheet of paper recycled contributes to a more sustainable world for us and generations to come.

Support from local communities

We're thrilled to announce the success of this initiative. The enthusiasm shown by the Headmistress and Teachers was truly heartwarming. On Monday 14th August 2023, we donated 10 recycle buns to Mount View International Primary School and on Friday 22nd September 2023, we held 2 assembilies for children aged 4-8 and 9-11 about recycling and how to preserve the environment.
