Our Impact
Since our founding, The Makazi Foundation has been a driving force of change for vulnerable children and youth across Malawi. We exist to ensure that no young person is left behind; especially those facing poverty, trauma, or lack of opportunity.
Through our psychosocial support programs, holistic education initiatives, and practical vocational training, we provide young people with the emotional strength, knowledge, and real-world skills they need to break the cycle of hardship and build fulfilling lives.

While still in the early stages, we are actively exploring ways to integrate accessible, context-appropriate digital tools into our programs. Our goal is to equip teachers, parents, and young people with innovative solutions that improve learning, enhance communication, and support informed decision-making—bridging the digital divide one step at a time.
By nurturing strong relationships with like-minded organizations, philanthropists, and impact investors, we unlock new sources of capital to drive our mission forward. This blended financing model allows us to scale our work beyond the limitations of traditional funding—amplifying our impact and ensuring long-term sustainability.
